Romantic Relationships

Relationships begin from infancy to early childhood and that plays a major role in the child’s future relationships. Every child deserves love and care from their parents or caregivers, its basic need and when deprived in cases like both parents are working, or caregivers busy in their own lives, or getting seperated, etc, children are left with feeling of loneliness and unsafe. The children who get love and care from their parents and loved ones are confident, happy, feel safe, build trust in them and they can fight with the problems of life.

When these children grow into adults, they form different relationships such as friendships, romantic relationships, relationships with classmates, colleagues, and other members of the society. “Humans are social animals” they need these relationships to survive peacefully. When they form romantic relationships, many times they get confused with attraction and think that whatever is happening to them is love but it\’s not. We get confused because everyone around us is involved in this relationship or because of the love they did not receive during their childhood and they think that’s their only chance to get love and if they don’t get it, they feel very low about themselves and think they don\’t deserve love. A healthy relationship is very important in every person’s life and it helps them feel secure, content, confident and grow as a person too.
