Across the Globe, We Are United in Our Dedication to Mental Health

Mental health challenges often take root in childhood, shaping the way individuals navigate life as they grow. In our professional experience, unresolved childhood trauma is at the core of many psychological struggles faced in adulthood. So why not address these challenges at their very source?

While mental health support is becoming an essential part of the education system in India, many students still lack access to open conversations and guidance on emotional well-being. At Swaadrishya, Project Neev aims to bridge this gap by collaborating with schools and providing structured mental health awareness sessions, creating a safe space for students to understand and express their emotions. Our focus is on discussing crucial topics that are often overlooked in school environments, helping children develop healthy emotional coping mechanisms, and giving them a safe outlet to seek help.

However, mental well-being isn’t just about students—it is also shaped by their teachers and parents. That’s why our program extends beyond the classroom, equipping educators with the skills to recognize signs of distress in students and guiding parents on creating emotionally supportive home environments.

Children lack the resources and life experience that adults develop over time to cope with emotions, stress, and trauma. They should not be deprived of the right tools to manage their mental well-being. With timely intervention, guidance, and access to help, we believe countless lives can be saved—especially when we look at the alarming rise in youth suicide rates in India. Through Project Neev, we aim to integrate mental health awareness into the education system, ensuring that students not only succeed academically but also grow into emotionally resilient individuals.
