Project Sigh Of Relief
Across the Globe, We Are United in Our Dedication to Mental Health
At Swaadrishya, Project S.O.R. (Sigh Of Relief) connects with the youth through interactive discussions, events, and safe spaces that go beyond surface-level awareness. Our goal is to help them understand mental health at its core, recognize when they need help, and break the hesitation around seeking support. By engaging in meaningful conversations and making mental health accessible in a way that truly resonates with them, we strive to ensure that awareness translates into action, growth, and well-being.
In today’s world, conversations around mental health are more visible than ever. With an abundance of information available online, young people are aware, engaged, and open to discussing these topics. But despite this progress, there remains a gap between knowing about mental health and truly understanding it.
Many see it as a trend rather than a necessity, and seeking real help is still met with hesitation and resistance. While digital platforms provide exposure, they cannot replace genuine emotional support and professional guidance. That’s where real engagement becomes crucial.
TALKS BEYOND HASHTAGS
Talks Beyond Hashtags is a part of our S.O.R. Project, Swaadrishya’s street-interview series designed to spark candid conversations about mental health. Through spontaneous vox pop interactions, we engage diverse voices, breaking the stigma and normalizing discussions beyond social media activism. This initiative brings real, unfiltered perspectives to the forefront, making mental health more relatable and accessible. By taking these conversations to the streets, we encourage community participation, challenge misconceptions, and promote awareness in an engaging, interactive way.
